Born on Sydney’s Eastern Beaches in Bondi, The Critical Slide Society began as more than just a brand—it was a creative collective. Surfers, artists, photographers, illustrators, musicians, and filmmakers came together, united by a shared love for the culture of the coast.
As a label, we’ve partnered with like-minded makers from around the world, shifting the spotlight away from competitions and trophies to celebrate the simple joy of surfing—a board, the waves, and you.
Our mission has always been to connect people through a mix of fashion, art, surf, and community. By going back to the roots of surf and coastal culture, we’ve brought sustainability and authenticity to the forefront. Today, The Critical Slide Society is proud to have won Best Boardshorts three years running, with a global presence in top-tier retail stores and our own spaces showcasing the essence of the brand. Staying true to our origins, we remain 100% independent and surfer-owned.
