Original nasal wizard since forever, CJ hardly needs an introduction. Fellow steeze jedi Joel Tudor once described CJ’s noseriding as ‘being at another level’.

CJ has appeared in some of the most respected surf films of this era including ‘Sprout’, ‘The Present’. CJ still resides in his hometown of Santa Cruz, California, but he spends a good amount of time on glassy walls in Mexico dotting the rest of the globe to surf.

It was CJ’s experience learning to skate fakie that drove him to apply his switch approach to noseriding, something that is now a CJ signature. Over the last couple of years, CJ has been working closely with Ian Chisholm out of South Coast Surfboards in Torquay, Victoria, on a whole new range of signature shapes and models. CJ claims that they are the best boards he’s ever ridden that he’s feeling more inspired by surfing than ever before.
